Yun-hee Huh
허윤희(1968년생)는 이화여자대학교 미술대학 서양화과와 독일 브레멘예술대학교에서 회화를 공부하였다. 목탄으로 종이와 벽에 드로잉을 하고 2008년부터 산책길에서 만난 나뭇잎을 가져와서 똑같이 그리고 짧은 글을 곁들여 <나뭇잎 일기>를 써오고 있다. 그 드로잉을 모아 <나뭇잎 일기>라는 제목의 책을 출간했다.(궁리출판사, 2018)
삶을 뒤돌아보고 자연과 인간, 존재에 대한 생각을 드로잉과 퍼포먼스, 회화로 표현하고 있다. 영은미술관, 수애뇨339, 국립세종수목원 등 국내외에서 26회의 개인전을 열었고 국립현대미술관, 금호미술관, 독일 베를린의 쿨투어팔라스트베딩 등 다수의 그룹전에 참여하였다. 뉴욕드로잉센터에 작품이 소장되어있다.

Yun-hee Huh(b.1968) studied Painting at Ewha Women’s University and Hochschule für Künste Bremen(University of the Arts Bremen). She makes charcoal drawings on papers and walls, and has been working on <Leaf Journal> since 2008. <Leaf Journal> is a book that was published in 2018, which presents short writings along with drawings of leaves that she brings with her on her daily walk.
Huh looks back to her past and addresses her opinions on nature, human, and existence through drawing, performance, and painting.
She has held twenty-six solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions world-wide. Her work is collected at The Drawing Center in New York.
